Within the framework of the Action KA1 Learning Mobility of Individuals, students of Higher Education Institutions are provided with the opportunity to move for STUDIES and/or PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE with the ERASMUS+ Programme.

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

Students who a) are studying in a Department of the University of Peloponnese, and b) are at least in their third semester of studies, are eligible to apply for the Erasmus+ Programme.

Students can move for studies or internships in all study cycles, up to a total of 12 months in each study cycle (undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral).

Priority will be given to students who have not previously moved elsewhere.

Recent graduates may move for an internship in their first year of graduation, provided that they apply during their final year of study and before the completion of their degree (completion of their obligations).

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS

The call for the Erasmus+ programme is published in February for mobility for the winter semester of the following academic year and in September for mobility for the spring semester. The calls with the attached documents are posted on the websites of the University Erasmus, the Departments of the Study Programmes and the Regional Departments of Studies and Student Affairs. The student applications together with the required documents are sent electronically, according to the instructions of the call for expression of interest, to the respective Erasmus Departments - Offices, according to the deadlines of the issued call.

The application form shall be accompanied by:

Detailed Grade Report (if not selected the possibility to be obtained ex officio from the Secretariat of the student's Department of Studies).
Photocopies of foreign language degrees

SELECTION CRITERIA

If candidates meet the conditions for participation in the programme, they will be assessed and marked according to the following criteria:

Successful completion of 70 % of the courses of the previous years of study.

70% of the completed coursework in all of the previous years (70% of the total number of courses completed in the previous year). The minimum language proficiency level is considered to be B1. The minimum level of language proficiency is the language in which the course is conducted or used in the workplace of the Host entity. Students must produce the relevant language certificates.

Assessment of student performance. The grade point average of the analytical mark will be evaluated accordingly in cases of equivalent students in the other selection criteria.

Assessment of high motivation of candidates to participate in the Erasmus+ programme (to be explored through an interview with the Erasmus Coordinator of the student's Department of Studies).

Also, during the interview candidates are informed that:
their application is binding and cannot be cancelled except for serious reasons (with relevant justification).

You may withdraw your application without penalty until the end of the personal interview.

In case of cancellation of the application after the announcement of the results, the student will not be eligible to participate in future actions of the Programme.

Accommodation and food issues in the host country are arranged at the students' own responsibility.

The results of their academic performance will be evaluated on the basis of the detailed marks they will provide after the end of their placement. The mobility is considered successful when the student has passed courses equivalent to half of the ECTS (e.g. 15 ECTS when a total of 30 ECTS is foreseen for a six-month mobility) declared in the Study Agreement. Otherwise, the Foundation reserves the right to request reimbursement of part or all of the scholarship amount.

The scholarship does not cover the entire travel costs, but only part of them.

With regard to students applying to move for an internship, priority will be given to those who meet the requirements for an internship on the dates of submission of the application and supporting documents on the basis of the invitation issued.

Students who have participated in the Erasmus+ programme in the past have low priority over those wishing to participate for the first time.

Priority will be given to persons with disabilities who receive additional funding from the Programme.
