FACILITIES

The Department of Sports Organization and Management is housed in the newly built facilities of the building complex of the School of Human Movement and Quality of Life Sciences, located at Psychiko (Efstathiou and Stamatikis Valioti and Plataion avenues, 23100, Sparta). This building has properly equipped classrooms, a Library-Reading Room, a computer lab and a 351-seat auditorium, which is used as a classroom and as a venue for the Department's Conferences, Seminars and Conferences.

COMPUTER ROOM

Our students are trained in IT in the modern 20-seat computer lab. These computers have office application software, statistical application software and will be used by students throughout their studies for practical training. All computers are equipped with e-mail and Internet browsing software. It is also possible to access foreign University portals, international sports bibliographic databases (Sport Discus) and management databases (Management), both Greek and international (Heal-Link).
The staff and students of the Department of Sports Organization & Management have the possibility to freely use the services provided by the data network of the University of Peloponnese, such as the remote access service and the e-mail services.

LIBRARY / READING ROOM

The Library - Reading Room of the Department of Sports Organization and Management has scientific books, manuals and magazines, which students use during their studies. Through the Internet, the possibility of connecting to electronic libraries and online bibliographic "portals" is provided. In the library there are approximately 2000 Greek and foreign language books, from Sports, Economy and Administration. There are also Greek magazines related to the science cultivated by the Department. Loans are already available to all students, teaching and research staff, students attending Master's Programs and PhD candidates.
