Department mission

The Department of Sport Management’s mission statement is to:

• Advance scientific knowledge in the fields of sport science and the organization and management of sport institutions.
• Provide students with the necessary skills and abilities that ensure competency as they advance towards a successful scientific and/or professional career.
• Organize postgraduate degree programs that successfully train students in developing an expertise in the various sport industry sub-disciplines.
• Produce sport practitioners capable to assume the organization and management of sporting events, both domestic and international..
