PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES OF THE WORKSHOP:

The purpose of the workshop is to present new, innovative applications and best practices in Public Administration and Local Government, as well as to
highlight the new data in the ongoing effort to disseminate knowledge within the administrative process. It is well known that public administration, in the way it is structured, often not only does not meet its role, but is also a deterrent to economic and social development. On the contrary, administrative innovation,
which is based on the development of skills at the individual and collective level, always yields optimal results. The specific goals of the workshop are:

1. Adequate analysis of innovative actions and opportunities with the use of new technologies in public administration.

2. The training of the employees in the administrative services regarding the procedures required for the conception and the successful implementation of the development
function of the administration in the narrow and in the wider public sector.

3. The enrichment of management with special knowledge and skills to participate successfully in the new model of municipal administration services
and self-government services.

4. The presentation of the support and aid bodies and organizations of modern applications in public administration.

THE LABORATORY OF ORGANIZATION AND ADMINISTRATION OF SERVICES AND QUALITY OF LIFE
HAS THE FOLLOWING GOALS:
• The promotion of science and the development of research in the field of Organization and Management of
Services offered by the Public, Private, Non-Profit and Non-Governmental sector
• The coverage at undergraduate and postgraduate level of the teaching and research needs of the Department
of Organization and Management of Sports, as well as the other departments of the University of Peloponnese.
• Cooperation of any kind with research centers and academic institutions at home and abroad.
•. The organization of scientific lectures, conferences, seminars, symposia, conferences and other scientific events,
the publication of publications and publications and the invitation of Greek and foreign recognized scientists.
• The provision of services to individuals according to the provisions of P.D. 159/1984.
